The East African Christian College (EACC) is offering exciting scholarship opportunities for students interested in pursuing careers in nursing and midwifery. Funded by the Ministry of Health, these scholarships cover tuition fees and, for midwifery programs, living allowances.
Programs Offered:
- Bachelor of Science with Honors in General Nursing (A0)
- Bachelor of Science with Honors in Midwifery (A0)
- Advanced Diploma in General Nursing (A1)
- Advanced Diploma in Midwifery (A1)
Application Deadline: August 20th, 2024
Eligibility:
- Graduated from Senior Six (or equivalent)
- Not currently receiving another government-funded scholarship
- Not a graduate of another university-level program
- Meet specific subject and grade requirements in Biology and Chemistry (details in the full announcement)
- For advanced diploma programs, have work experience as an A2 Nurse
Selection Process:
- Applicants meeting minimum requirements will take an admission test on August 27th, 2024.
- Scholarship recipients will be chosen based on admission test scores.
- Selected students will sign a contract agreeing to work in the Rwandan health system for a minimum period after graduation.
