The Rwanda TVET Board (RTB), in collaboration with the Rwanda Chamber of Tourism and supported by the European Union through the UBUKERARUGENDO IMBERE project, is excited to announce an Industrial-Based Training (IBT) opportunity. This program is designed for graduates in the fields of Hospitality Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, TSS (Food and Beverage Service, Culinary Arts, Housekeeping, and Front Office Level 5), and Tourism. Participants will undergo nine months of intensive, practical training in designated hotels and top companies across Rwanda.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for this opportunity, applicants must:
- Be Rwandan citizens.
- Be aged between 16 and 35 years.
- Hold a qualification from TSS, Polytechnic, or University in Hospitality and Tourism, specifically in:
- Food and Beverages
- Housekeeping
- Front Office
- Culinary Arts
- Hotel and Restaurant Management
- Travel and Tourism
- Destination Management
- Accepted Levels of Education (Qualification):
- Level 5 certificate (TVET)
- Secondary (S6)
- Diploma
- Advanced Diploma
- Bachelor’s degree
- Master’s degree
- Applicants with a high school (TSS) qualification must have graduated at least two years prior.
- Be currently unemployed.
- Have not benefited from similar training programs in hotels or other companies.
- Be willing to adhere to the terms and conditions of the training program.
- Be open to being trained anywhere in Rwanda, including remote areas.
