BK Group PLC is seeking a visionary and dynamic Group Head of Data and Technology to lead the integration of cutting-edge technology and data strategies across the organization. This role will be instrumental in driving innovation, fostering a data-driven culture, and shaping the future of financial services at BK Group.
Purpose of the Job
The Group Head of Data and Technology will serve as a strategic leader, responsible for developing and implementing the Group’s data and technology vision. The role will ensure seamless integration of digital services, innovative architecture solutions, and data-driven decision-making processes to enhance operational efficiency, customer experience, and business growth.
This position collaborates with internal and external stakeholders, including business leaders, technical teams, and vendors, to design scalable and secure solutions that address complex business challenges while aligning with BK Group’s strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technology Strategy and Leadership
- Develop and execute the Group’s Technology Vision and architecture roadmap.
- Lead BK Group’s Strategic Transformation Strategy, focusing on digital channels, automation, FinTech ecosystems, and innovation.
- Ensure compliance with IT and digital regulatory requirements.
- Continuously refine architecture frameworks and platforms to align with changing business needs.
- Research emerging technologies and assess their applicability to the Group.
2. Data Strategy and Governance
- Develop and implement the Group’s Data Strategy, addressing security, reference data, metadata, and master data management.
- Embed data as a strategic asset, enhancing decision-making processes across the organization.
- Maintain compliance with data governance frameworks and regulations.
- Collaborate with subsidiaries to align data strategies and deliver impactful solutions.
- Promote the adoption of modern data analytics platforms and AI technologies.
3. Business Intelligence and Integration
- Provide advanced reporting tools to consolidate KPIs and track strategic objectives.
- Oversee the development of data insights, dashboards, and business intelligence tools.
- Design integration strategies for seamless data flow across platforms and subsidiaries.
- Lead the development of APIs and middleware to enable cross-functional product integration.
4. Culture and Leadership
- Inspire, develop, and engage a world-class team of Data Architects and Solution Designers.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence.
- Build digital experiences that create value for customers and the organization.
- Promote knowledge sharing, mentoring, and skill development across teams.
5. Operational Efficiency and Continuous Improvement
- Regularly evaluate and enhance platforms for operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Implement solutions to meet architectural standards and compliance requirements.
- Drive automation and cost optimization to ensure long-term sustainability.
6. Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with business leaders, technical teams, and external vendors to deliver innovative solutions.
- Coordinate Group-wide integration projects to align with strategic objectives.
- Act as a trusted advisor on technology and data strategies to drive growth and transformation.

Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in IT Architecture, Data Management, or related disciplines.
- 5–10 years of progressive experience in senior technology roles such as CIO, CTO, or Head of Data/IT.
- Proven experience designing and executing company-wide technology and data strategies.
- Track record of delivering digital transformation projects on time and within budget.
- Expertise in managing risks related to data security, governance, and regulatory compliance.
- Certifications in Project and Program Management are an added advantage.
