Republic of Hungary – Government of Rwanda Scholarships Deadline: 15-01-2024

The Higher Education Council (HEC) announces scholarships offered through the bilateral cooperation agreement between the Republic of Hungary and the Government of Rwanda. The Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme provides opportunities for Rwandan students to study in Hungary for the academic year 2025-2026 at the Undergraduate, Masters, and PhD levels. Scholarships are also available for PhD/DLA studies in any field of interest.

Eligibility Requirements

Interested candidates must submit the following documents:

Application letter addressed to the Director General of HEC.
Copy of National ID.
One (1) recent passport-size photo.
Certified copy of high school certificate, results slip, or equivalence qualification (for undergraduate candidates).
Certified copy of Bachelor’s degree (for graduate students).
Certified copy of Master’s degree (for Doctoral students).
IELTS score of 6.5 or higher (added advantage).
Recommendation from the employer (for Masters and PhD applicants, added advantage).
