Key Responsibilities
As a Cashier, you will report directly to the Director of Finance & Internal Resources Management Unit and handle the following responsibilities:
- Cash and Credit Collection
- Receive and remit cash daily to the principal cashier.
- Collect and submit credit forms to the revenue collection officer daily.
- Cash Management
- Manage all cash transactions in your designated workplace.
- Maintain daily records of transactions and verify daily cash balances.
- Check pricing against the price list and handle discrepancies.
- Customer Interaction
- Assist customers at the counter with their queries.
- Guide and address customer concerns professionally.
- Team Collaboration
- Provide training and support to newly joined cashiers.
- Report any discrepancies or irregularities in accounts to superiors.
- Prepare daily transaction reports for review.
Qualifications
Applicants must have one of the following educational qualifications (no prior experience required):
- Advanced Diploma in Finance
- Advanced Diploma in Accounting
- Diploma (A1) in Management and Accounting
- Diploma (A2) in Accounting
- Diploma (A2) in Commerce and Accounting
Required Competencies & Skills
- Resource Management Skills – Ability to effectively utilize and manage available resources.
- Problem-Solving Skills – Aptitude for analyzing and resolving issues promptly.
- Proficiency in Financial Management Systems – Familiarity with financial software and tools.
- Analytical Skills – Keen attention to detail and strong numerical ability.
