We are seeking a talented Communications Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a skilled communicator with a strong command of written and verbal communication. They should excel in crafting compelling content, managing multiple communications channels, and engaging diverse audiences. This individual will be responsible for creating and executing communication strategies that amplify ABI’s mission, projects and impact across various platforms.

Responsibilities
- Develop and manage content for ABI’s website, social media platforms, on-going projects, and newsletters.
- Craft engaging press releases, reports, blog posts and promotional materials for ABI’s programs and projects.
- Support internal and external communication efforts to promote ABI’s programs, projects and initiatives.
- Work closely with ABI’s team to ensure seamless communication of programs and project updates.
- Monitor and analyze communication metrics to optimize outreach strategies.
- Maintain relationships with media partners and stakeholders to enhance visibility.
- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of communication strategies and campaigns, providing actionable insights to improve outreach.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in communications, public relations, content writing, or similar role. Minimum of 1.5 years.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Proficiency in managing social media platforms and analytics tools.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- A creative thinker with the ability to adapt communication to various audiences.
- Knowledge of blockchain and emerging technologies is an added advantage.
